Not U.S....Us!

Not wanting all to mistakenly suppose we have no faces or lives, this page is dedicated respectively to us. Just as a backdrop for the info you are about to accept into your reasoning processes of your mind, Katie and David are siblings in a family of 14 children all from the same two parents. Our family homeschools and all of us are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  Now to dive into the juicy particulars of the mystery that comprises ourselves.

Katie:  Spontaneous, intelligent, musically inclined, courageous, and with a wonderful smile she has been braving the hardships of India (and those cruel dejecting multiple day flights).  For 9 nine years she has been coming back and forth, spending most of that time in FFC (Families for Children) and orphanage in Southern India.  She has served a church mission for a year and a half in England, has become a certified medical assistant, and is currently studying to become a Master Herbalist. She loves the children at the orphanage. She loves herbs, but she still does not love long airplane flights!
David:  What words are big enough, or small enough...what phrases witty and deep...what sentences oozing with revealing truth...what book worthy enough...in short what can I possibly say to convey to you a correct shadow of an idea of who this young whippersnapper really is?  Impossible you say, so do I...why should we even try then? Okay, I can at least tell you of his accomplishments.  He is a young man of 22.  He graduated, naturally, from High School, and served a mission for his church for 2 years in the exotic and tropic regions of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Speaking two languages, he came home, and without having time to properly readjust to home he courageously volunteered to assist his sister in her new daring plans for India.  He may have regretted that later but I do not think so.  He does show some signs of possessing musical talent but they have not been effectually developed.
The New Addition, Mani:  As of the 3rd of February, this dashing young man has joined our ranks it the pursuit of the highest levels of who knows what.  It is nice to have him along.  He grew up here in the orphanage and has long been close friends with Katie who taught him English and now that he has left the orphanage he has come back to work for us, and use his extensive creative capabilities to assist us in our projects and culinary excursions.  He has already helped us improve the taste quality of the stuff we consume.

Now that you have a better picture of who we really are, you can understand and imagine with us our future experiences as they unfold.  And now for one of our first photos together here in India.
